The ECL Series offers two sets of 5-hour workshops geared to prepare program managers to launch and support their youth-service organizations.
Series One
(2 – 2.5 hour workshops):
Building Agency Competencies in Four Key Change Agent Management Areas:
- Vetting, Hiring and Transitioning Community Based Transformational Change Agents
- Culturally Competent Supervision and Accountability Methods
- Engaging and Consensus Building with System Partners
- Promoting and Supporting Transformational Change Agents Professional Development and Safety
Series Two
(2 – 2.5 hour workshops):
Building Agency Capacity to Elicit Community Change through Social Network Building.
A growing body of research now points to the power of social networks to address violence, reduce crime, and enhance economic opportunities. In this workshop series, ATC will teach agency staff how to:
- Reduce redundancy among community change agents and partner organizations.
- Using a social capital framework to promote restorative and positive youth justice.
- Building systems to support a social capital framework
- Designing the logic model, evaluation methods and protocols.
Training includes 3-months of virtual coaching and support.
